In the construction business by profession, but passionate about cooking from an early age, Subbanna wanted to serve a homely chicken biryani cooked to his mother's recipe to patrons. The menu at Subbanna’s Biryani includes only a chicken kabab, chicken fry and the chicken biryani, sold at only Rs. 100 for a fairly adequate portion. Just because it is priced low doesn’t take away from the care that the couple shower upon their dishes, with the husband making the trek to the market every morning to procure the ingredients before returning to the kitchen to cook. I fell in love with the honest, homely appeal of this modest eatery, and am sure you will like it too.
