My First Iconic Bengaluru Dosae! 🏛️ Is Now In Jayanagar! ✂️🎊✨

A few days ago, I had the honor of inaugurating the brand-new Chalukya Samrat in Jayanagar 4th Block! ✂️🎀 This was a deeply nostalgic moment for me. This legendary institution (est. 1977) served the very first "iconic" dosae I ever tasted when I moved to Bengaluru 30 years ago. 🕰️🏙️ To celebrate, I dove into their signature Orange Dosae—the vibrant color comes from a unique technique and a punchy, flavorful kempu chutney (no fruit involved!). 🥞🔥 While their famous badam halwa was sold out, it led to a delicious discovery: their Kashi Halwa made from Boodu Kumblakayi (ashgourd). 🥣🍯 Absolutely sublime!
