One of the earliest eateries in the city, it has perhaps also kindled Bengaluru’s love affair with the biryani. Alongside a wholesome chicken and a nuanced mutton biryani, I also taste some of the other popular dishes here - an aromatic ghee rice, spicy kheema masala, robustly flavoured lamb chops, and an akhni that made its way from the owner’s home to my table.
