Determined to hold on to the legacy left behind by their forefathers, during this difficult time, they gathered every bit of the rubble of the old structure and poured it into the foundation of their new building that has emerged just a few steps behind the original location. And they managed to do this in just under two months! I was amazed at their incredible determination to fiercely protect the Kalladka Tea and Rimjhim Coffee tradition that has quite literally put this town, 30 kilometers outside Mangalore on the food lovers map.
