Honing recipes, adding her touch, she opened Maskaa, a small, cosy café in Koramangala, to serve comfort fare - from vada pav, thaalipeeth, sabudana vadas, misal pav, pav bhaji, omelets, paneer bhurji, even a couple of interesting chicken dishes, and in sync with the eatery’s name, a butter-laden bun that pairs deliciously with a masala tea, brewed with a secret blend of 17 spices prepared by her father. I dropped in for a ‘snacky’ lunch one afternoon to chat with this enterprising lady entrepreneur, and also taste some of her dishes.
