Begun by Mr Hollappa in the 1940s, this breakfast-only eatery is now run by his son, 86-year old Mahadevappa, and grandson, Mahesh. The must-try (actually one of only three items on the menu) here is the scrumptious Tuppa Dosae, roasted with liberal lashings of ‘vanaspati’ ghee, to accommodate “taste and budget” as pointed out by Mahesh.
