I was told by my friend, Charles Baptist that the denizens of Chikmagalur too have warmed up to the donne biryani phenomenon, and one of the most favoured stops for coffee town’s unique take on this popular biryani tradition is MG Road Donne Biryani. The biryani here is spicy, stained a yellowish-red, unlike the greenish-yellow donne biryanis one finds in Bengaluru, and certainly packs a tasty punch.
