Needless to say, it was a meal quite interesting, especially having interacted with the skilled kitchen hands in Salem’s oldest non-vegetarian restaurant perhaps. The family behind Mangala Vilas have recently opened an outpost here in Namma Bengaluru, and I lost no time in ordering a big takeaway of their iconic dishes like the naatu kozhi leg roast, pichi potta fry, mutton chukka, kothu parotta, egg labba, among others.
