Rs. 60 (usd 0.7) per glass. 6/10 Onion Samosa I love the sweet crunch of the onions and the crisp, flakey pastry that it is encased in. This is an iftar staple, and Sharief Bhai does a good version of this samosa that is sold at every street corner during Ramzan. Rs. 70 (usd 0.7) for 4 nos. 8.5/10 Aloo Cheese Samosa A well-spiced aloo and cheese stuffing, that lends it a crisp and creamy bite. Rs. 105 (usd 0.7) for 4 nos. 7/10 Gosht Kheema Samosa The mutton mince is roasted with spices, lending it a deep flavour alongside the onion and peas. On the palate, it is spicy and tangy. Rs. 130 (usd 0.7) for 4 nos. 8/10 Paneer Til Kebab Cubes of paneer, coated in a spicy marinade and deep-fried, the fat in the cottage cheese makes for a moist and spicy bite. If you like your paneer, you will enjoy this snack. Rs. 100 (usd 0.7) 8/10 Gobi Til Kebab The gobi has a certain sweetness to it as a result of it being deep-fried, it’s missing a crunch in takeaway mode, but other than that makes for a tasty snack. Rs. 90 (usd 0.7) 7/10 Murg Til Kebab Boneless The chicken, although savoury on the palate, is a tad dry. Rs. 140 (usd 0.7) for 4 nos. 6/10 Murg Shami Kebab Spiced chicken mince, wrapped around a boiled egg quarter and sprigs of mint and coriander. Makes for a sprightly, comforting snack. Rs. 130 (usd 0.7) for 3 nos. 8/10 Gosht Haleem Sharief Bhai’s haleem is well-endowed with meat, you bite into meaty strands that have incorporated completely into the pounded wheat, in a flavourful cocoon of warming spices. The brishta, fried onions, lend it a slightly sweetish, flavourful crunch. Rs. 330 (usd 0.7) for a large portion. 8.5/10 Murg Anda Kheema Roti A flakey paratha, topped with a spicy baida (egg) and chicken mince mix, makes for a chatpata, filling snack. Savour it hot! Rs. 100 (usd 0.7) per roti. 8/10 Phirni The phirni is served chilled in a clay pot, a simple dessert made well. You taste the coarse graininess of the rice and the weight of the reduced milk.
