For about seven or eight years, he dabbled in brewing coffee with every equipment or blend he could get his hands on. A year ago, he plunged into setting up a cloud kitchen delivering coffee, and spurred by its reasonable success was motivated to set up a café. An empty piece of land in JP Nagar, South Bengaluru became the canvas for his café-build, ground up. Here this coffee connoisseur serves quick espresso based brews and slow cold drips too. It is quite apparent that he knows his coffee, I discovered during a couple of hours there. I tasted everything from an experimental liberica blend to cold drips, classic lattes, matcha shakes, and even some interesting concoctions with kombucha and coffee peel too. And in keeping with the interesting beverage experience, the food served here is quite interesting too and cooked to order. From a Maillard mushroom burger to an interestingly named spicy Koppa Bun, cheesy pull-aparts and Bagel Breakfast sandwiches too. It’s the sort that makes for a tasty experience alongside the coffees.
