I was intrigued by the high proportion of urad dal as compared to typical idlis, and so made a mental note to return. And when we did, we were rewarded with tasting one of the softest idlis that I have ever eaten, in combination with a delicious, warming cucumber gojju made. I also savoured their scrumptious no-onion masala dosae, again with an interesting twist, and their world-famous creations - puliyogare, bella pongal and sakkare pongal.
