We visited many eateries which have a history of so many years. 1. Mahesh Tiffanys Mahesh Tiffanys - A 80 year old tiffin centre famous for their tuppad (Ghee) Dose. Two khali dose is roasted to perfection with ample amount of Ghee. You get crispy texture in the Centre and soft in the corners. Served along with Aloo ( Potato ) Palya and Chutney. Ghee flavor bursts out in each bite and chutney is medium spicy. A perfect combination to start your day. Shankar Tea Stall Post breakfast we visited Shankar Tea Stall located at Shivarampete Mysuru for an Amazing Tea. Its been operating since 90 years for now. One of the oldest tea stall of Namma Mysuru. Here the tea is strong and thick, the making itself is beautiful. Do give it a try when you are at Mysuru. Amruth Gobi Centre In Mysore , there are two famous places for Gobi Manchurian. One is Usman Dry Gobi and another is Amruth Gobi Centre. Since Usman Dry Gobi was closed. we visited Amruth Gobi. Here the gobi is Cabbage based and is crispy , juicy and perfectly spiced. Begun by Mr Hollappa in the 1940s, this breakfast-only eatery is now run by his son, 86-year old Mahadevappa, and grandson, Mahesh. The must-try (actually one of only three items on the menu) here is the scrumptious Tuppa Dosae, roasted with liberal lashings of ‘vanaspati’ ghee, to accommodate “taste and budget” as pointed out by Mahesh.
