I enjoyed my meal there and our ensuing video prompted many of you to visit Malgudi Mylari Mane, Nelamangala. Things have improved for them to such an extent that they have recently opened their second restaurant, right here in Bengaluru. I had to check it out, and find out happily so, that the food still retains its delicious, rustic appeal, and is a wonderful complement to an age-old Mysore inspired dosae. I returned to Malgudi Mylari Mane for an impromptu revisit to test an offering that stayed with me since I first tasted it months ago: their Mutton Thali. 🍛 Priced at ₹400, this is a sumptuous assembly of the eatery’s nati offerings. While their Mylari Dosae—served with sagoo and chutney—is clearly inspired by the Mysuru legend, the real draw here is how it pairs with a robust nati spread. From the Mutton Fry to the Mutton Palav (which remains the ace in this thali’s deck), the meal reflects a kitchen that understands how to cook mutton with respect for texture and spice. 🍖 In this episode of The Review, I dive into this mutton feast to see if it maintains the standard I fell in love with.
