However, what is not much known is the fact that there are a variety of distinct coffee traditions in the South, based on geography, brewing and serving customs. But that’s about to change, as a mother and son duo, Anusuya and Ranjit Prakasam, have just opened a cosy filter coffee café in Jayanagar, South Bengaluru, where they brew and serve a range of 10 filter coffees that incorporate unique blends, paired even to the milk that goes in - from hand churned to A2 milk of desi cows.
