However, since then, I had forgotten all about Palm Grove at Ballal Residency hotel on Residency Road. So when it came up as a recommendation for the 90s restaurant feature in the first season of our new show, the Review, I had to give it a go. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the fare I tasted. From a robustly flavoured bonda rasam to sumptuously tasty South Indian thali and more. Regulars also favour their tiffin menu, so much so that long queues of customers are common here on weekends, I’m told. If you’re looking for pleasing, vegetarian fare in an atmosphere that has an old school vibe, definitely reconnect with this old Bengaluru gem. I hope you’re enjoying my outings in ‘The Review’.
