Thirty years have passed since, the neighbourhood has evolved beyond recognition but Rajamma’s Madhavan Park Bajji Angadi, or shop, has stood constant at the same spot. Her husband has since retired, and today, she is helped by her sons, as they continue to serve delicious vegetable bajjis at honest prices to customers who visit not only for the scrumptious fare but also for the comforting nostalgia of yesteryear.
