I was amazed at their courage and conviction, standing in Mysuru and praising a Mysore Pak from their hometown. Nonetheless, I made note of their recommendation. And so when I recently did a tour of Shimoga, the Venkatesha Sweet House Mysore Pak was top of my list. Not only did I taste this hugely popular sweet alongside a few other treats, I also caught its making with third generation owner, Prasanna, and his sweet makers of decades.
